Took it on a solo night run through a sketchy part of town, and just knowing that 130dB blast was a thumb-press away helped me keep my pace steady. The activation is quick and the sound is genuinely piercing, even during a quick test in my driveway.

I clipped it to my dog's harness during our evening walk and when a stranger got too close, one pull produced a sound so piercing my ears rang for a solid minute afterwards. The 130dB rating is no joke, and I feel much safer knowing I can draw that much attention in an emergency.
